Random fate and destiny led to the inclusion of Seedling on our mixtape.

The story goes like this. One day Seedling was in Albury at a demolition place looking for materials for his house. It looked closed so he asked a couple of guys in a car about it - one of the guys was MC MJD.

I'm unsure how the topic of music arose but they quickly found common ground - MJD saying he'd been into punk but recently gotten into hip hop, with Seedling saying he'd moved from alternative folk into hip hop...

They exchanged details and didn't talk again until they both posted songs to JJJ unearthed in the Hilltop Hoods remix competition.

After Seedling heard Hendo's 'All you need to do is talk' on unearthed, he sat down immediately and started writing a song about his life's experiences on depression and bad times.

MJD linked me to Tim's music and suggested he may have a track suitable for the project.

And what a sweet song it is.

It sends us a powerful message about rising above the doldrums and not unnecessarily beating ourselves up, because 'nobody's perfect'.
